TK Maxx has launched Festive Crossing, its Christmas advert for 2026, returning to the farmyard world it introduced in 2023 with a new storyline built around a family of fashionable ducks.
Created by Wieden+Kennedy London and directed by Gary Freedman, the advert follows the farmer and his wife as they drive home from a TK Maxx shopping trip. Their journey is interrupted by a stylish family of ducks crossing the road and showing off their TK Maxx gifts, watched by the familiar alpaca and the original goat from the back of the truck, as it becomes clear that word of the retailer’s designer gifts and deals has spread beyond their own farm. The film is set to Goodies by Ciara.
The 30-second advert launches today across video-on-demand, online video and integrated digital channels, alongside a rollout on TK Maxx’s Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn accounts. A 60-second version is available on YouTube and the retailer’s owned channels, and the advert makes its TV debut from 16 November in prime-time placements.

TK Maxx describes Festive Crossing as its first new Christmas advert in three years. It builds on Festive Farm, which first appeared in 2023, bringing back familiar characters alongside new feathered faces and carrying the retailer’s ‘Spoil All Your Loved Ones For Less’ platform into this year’s campaign.

The advert is part of wider Christmas brand activity built around the retailer’s combination of big-brand gifts, quality, range and value. The campaign will extend across social media, influencer partnerships and wider marketing through the festive season, with behind-the-scenes content and bloopers to follow on Instagram and TikTok.

Festive Crossing is the latest in a run of Christmas campaigns from TK Maxx, which set its 2021 advert to a special version of Aerosmith’s Walk This Way. The 60-second version is on the retailer’s YouTube channel, and the 30-second edit reaches TV screens from 16 November.
