Grosvenor has revealed that the women’s active streetwear brand, Red Run, has inaugurated its new flagship store at Liverpool ONE. This opening signifies not just a pivotal moment for Red Run but also underscores Liverpool ONE’s commitment to nurturing local, independent enterprises.

Spanning 1,400 square feet on Liverpool ONE’s Manesty’s Lane, the store is a visual treat, displaying Red Run’s meticulously curated, high-quality active streetwear. To mark the occasion, Red Run has rolled out its most sought-after collection to date, AW23, dubbed ‘Parisian Night.’ Adding another layer to its direct-to-consumer strategy, Red Run has collaborated with ASICS to offer a handpicked assortment of sneakers, curated by Creative Director Megan Kimmance. These sneakers are intended to complement Red Run’s versatile fashion collections, providing customers with a comprehensive style solution. Moreover, the brand plans to unveil exclusive, limited-edition designs periodically, starting with a printed long-sleeved skater tee from their best-selling INKY collection, available in-store from October 28.

The store’s design, orchestrated by Creative Director and Co-founder Megan Kimmance, mirrors Red Run’s core values. It employs sustainable, responsibly sourced materials and sports a modern industrial look. With a dedicated following across the North West and further afield, the flagship store will also serve as a venue for exclusive in-store VIP events and collaborative activations.

Rob Deacon, Asset Management Director at Grosvenor, stated, “Supporting independents and local businesses has always been a huge part of our strategy at Liverpool ONE and Red Run is yet another trail-blazing local brand built from the fabric of Liverpool. With a dedication to sustainability and community and a loyal following set to bring visitors back time and time again, Red Run is an excellent addition to our diverse and curated selection of retailers, and I am looking forward to witnessing the brand continue to go from strength to strength.”

Megan Kimmance, Creative Director & Co-Founder at Red Run, expressed, “Red Run’s Liverpool ONE flagship will allow our existing consumers as well as new, to fully experience the quality and intricacy of Red Run and heighten our direct-to-consumer shopping experience via an immersive and inspiring space. Through blood, sweat and tears, with the support of my business partners, Abby Adderley & Joana Barbosa, I have managed to bring my vision to life – the Liverpool ONE store is something we are all very proud of and truly represents Red Run as a brand and where we are now. Our Liverpool ONE store is the start of a new chapter for Red Run, and we are delighted to welcome everyone to our new destination.”

Adjacent to Red Run on Manesty’s Lane is another local enterprise, Utility, a design-focused retailer that is relocating from Liverpool ONE’s Paradise Place. Utility offers a diverse range of gifts for various occasions and budgets. The brand is committed to ethical production and features an in-house team of skilled designers. It also stocks a collection of popular brands like Chilly’s, Rains, Skagen, and Hay.

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE, while Red Run represented themselves.
