Lounge has announced the opening of its Christmas pop-up store at Liverpool ONE‘s South John Street. This marks the brand’s inaugural presence in the city, setting the stage for a distinctive shopping experience for the local and visiting customers.

Occupying a space of 4,000 square feet, this pop-up store will remain open until December 23rd. It’s designed to mirror a warm and inviting shopping environment, staying true to Lounge’s minimalistic yet comfortable style. This design ethos is intended to provide shoppers with a serene and enjoyable holiday shopping experience.

Following a series of successful pop-up ventures, Lounge ventured into the realm of permanent retail earlier this year. The brand now aims to open seven additional locations over the next 12 months, signifying a significant expansion in its retail footprint.

Rob Deacon, Asset Management Director at Grosvenor, commented on this new venture, stating: “We are delighted to have welcomed Lounge’s highly anticipated city debut pop-up, marking yet another fan-favourite to select Liverpool ONE as the destination of choice for pioneering, first-rate retailers. The rapidly expanding brand aligns very well with our demographic here at Liverpool ONE and it was great to see our visitors enthusiastically interact with the pop-up over the launch weekend.”

Mel Marsden, Founder of Lounge, also shared her thoughts: “We are delighted to launch our exclusive pop-up at Liverpool ONE this Christmas. As Lounge continues to expand into physical retail, we have been seeking locations that not only have high footfall numbers, but also align with our dedication to providing the ultimate customer experience, and Liverpool ONE’s core visitor-centred values and loyal consumer base made it the ideal home. We look forward to introducing Liverpool to our luxurious city debut.”

In related news, women’s active streetwear brand, Red Run, has recently opened its flagship store in Liverpool ONE. This move represents a significant milestone in the growth of the popular brand and underscores Liverpool ONE’s commitment to supporting the development of local, independent businesses.

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE in these transactions, while JLL represented Lounge.
