Sovereign Centros from CBRE has made an announcement that Swarovski, the internationally celebrated luxury brand known for its high-quality crystals and jewellery, is set to make a comeback to the West Midlands’ premier shopping destination, Merry Hill, with a standalone boutique scheduled to open this spring.

Founded in 1895, Swarovski has established itself as a leader in the production and sale of the finest crystals, Swarovski Created Diamonds, zirconia, jewellery, and accessories, as well as home décor items and automotive crystals. Operating across over 150 countries with roughly 2,300 owned stores, Swarovski is also noted for its commitment to sustainability, diversity, inclusion, and philanthropic efforts through the Swarovski Foundation.

The new boutique, occupying a space of 2150 sq ft located between Goldsmiths and Beaverbrooks on the Upper Mall, will introduce shoppers to Swarovski’s latest retail design, featuring metallic finishes, fluted glass, chrome, and silk accents. Visitors can expect to explore an extensive collection of Swarovski’s renowned jewellery, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings, as well as a variety of accessories. The addition of Swarovski enhances Merry Hill’s strong portfolio of watch and jewellery brands, including RolexTAG Heuer, and Pandora.

Alistair Winning, Asset Manager at Sovereign Centros from CBRE, shared his enthusiasm: “Swarovski is a household name with a distinctive approach to jewellery, which makes it a brand that we know our visitors will enjoy shopping at Merry Hill. The fact they are returning to the centre with a standalone boutique is also a clear indication of the destination’s sustained, strong performance over the past few years, and our proactive approach to securing best-in-class brands. They fit the location perfectly, surrounded by premium jewellery and fashion brands, and will make a great addition to Merry Hill’s retail offer when they launch in the coming months.”

The announcement is accompanied by the news that Accessorize, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, has also secured a store at Merry Hill. The renowned fashion, gifts, and accessories brand will occupy a 1,069 sq ft space opposite Lush on the Lower Mall, marking another return to Merry Hill alongside Swarovski.

Representatives for Merry Hill include JLL, Time Retail Partners, and Font Real Estate, highlighting the centre’s ongoing attraction for leading retail brands.
