Castore, the premium performance sportswear brand, has selected centre:mk for its regional debut.

Set to open on Silbury Arcade in late June, Castore’s 865 sq ft location will be one of the brand’s first new store design concepts. Designed by Ink Associates, the concept is inspired by the grit, graft, and determination of athletes. Utilising advanced engineering and unique technical fabrics, Castore’s high-performing sportswear pushes the boundaries of activewear innovation.

The centre:mk regional flagship will showcase Castore’s full mainline range across its menswear, womenswear, and junior collections, alongside selected teamwear for McLaren Racing and Oracle Red Bull Racing (ORBR), which aligns with Red Bull Racing’s Factory situated within the city of Milton Keynes.

Castore has recently announced its collaboration with Umbro to have exclusive rights to work with their existing English Premier League team partnerships. This adds to Castore’s current list of world-class athletes, teams, and brands, including England cricket, Andy Murray, Newcastle FC, and local team Milton Keynes Dons.

Tom Beahon, Co Founder, Castore, commented: “Castore was created to bring a new level of performance to both men’s and women’s sportswear. Our philosophy of Better Never Stops extends to where we choose to locate our flagship stores. As the dominant pitch in the region, paired with our ties to Milton Keynes’ racing and football teams, centre:mk was the ideal destination to launch Castore in the South East and we look forward to opening our doors this summer.”

Kevin Duffy, centre:mk’s Centre Director, added: “Pushing the boundaries in sportswear innovation, Castore is a natural addition to centre:mk’s city-centre location situated in one of the fastest growing and most innovative cities in the country. We consistently outperform national benchmarks and are home to an exceptional line-up of anchor brands, including John Lewis & Partners, H beauty, and M&S, just one of the many reasons centre:mk is a top 10 retail destination.”

Castore is the latest brand to commit to centre:mk, following the news that renowned British womenswear brand, Mint Velvet, will be opening a key regional store this summer. The 2,800 sq.ft. debut store will be located on centre:mk’s premium Silbury Arcade and will stock a full collection of their womenswear, footwear and accessories.

FMX and Time Retail Partners acted for centre:mk.
