Grosvenor has announced that Pandora, the world’s largest jewellery brand, has opened a 2,000 sq ft Evoke 2.0 concept store at Liverpool ONE. This refurbishment of its existing unit on South John Street is part of the ongoing investment by several brands in the destination since the beginning of 2024.

Pandora’s refurbishment introduces the Evoke 2.0 store concept, featuring a modern aesthetic designed to immerse visitors in the Pandora brand. The store aims to offer a shopping experience that is both inspiring and easy to navigate.

Ross Monaghan, Sales Director at Pandora UK, stated: “Liverpool ONE has been one of our top-performing stores in the country, and with our loyal customer base in the region, rejuvenating the space was a logical step. The destination is ideal for continuing the roll-out of our Evoke 2.0 concept, and we’re excited to welcome visitors to the store’s new look.”

Pandora is among several retailers that have reinvested in Liverpool ONE. Zara is preparing to expand into a 40,000 sq ft regional flagship from its current 27,000 sq ft space. Altogether, nearly 90,000 sq ft of space has been upgraded by Liverpool ONE’s brands this year. Other notable brands that have reinvested since early 2023 include Goldsmiths and BOSS.

The investment by these leading brands has had a significant impact on Liverpool ONE’s performance. Stores that underwent refits in 2022 and 2023 have seen an average 8.2% increase in weekly sales compared to the 12 months before refurbishment. These stores are also averaging a 16% increase in sales in 2024, indicating the benefits of sustained investment in the destination.

Rob Deacon, Director of Asset Management at Grosvenor, remarked: “Pandora is one of many international brands that have invested in Liverpool ONE, and we are pleased to see this trend continue with the opening of its refurbished store. The ongoing commitment of top brands highlights the strong partnerships Grosvenor has with its tenants, and the positive impact on Liverpool ONE is evident.”

CBRE and Metis Real Estate Advisors represent Liverpool ONE on retail lettings, while Metis and Stärka handle hospitality and leisure.
