Victoria Leeds, owned and operated by Redical, has announced that iconic British leather bag brand Cambridge Satchel will be joining its roster of premium retailers this December. Marking Cambridge Satchel’s regional debut and third UK boutique, the new 881 sq ft store will be located in the historic Victoria Quarter at 3–5 County Arcade.

The new Cambridge Satchel store will join the brand’s other locations in Covent Garden and Cambridge, reinforcing Victoria Leeds’ position as a leading shopping destination outside London. The store will offer a variety of women’s and men’s collections, including the brand’s classic crossbody bags, satchels, handbags, tote bags, backpacks, briefcases, and trunks. Customers will also be able to enjoy in-store personalisation services, adding a bespoke touch to their purchases.

Known for its philosophy of “British style reimagined,” Cambridge Satchel is dedicated to preserving exceptional British craftsmanship. This new addition will complement Victoria Quarter’s current portfolio of British brands, which includes renowned names such as Vivienne WestwoodBarbourHarvey Nichols, and Penhaligon’s.

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, expressed excitement over the brand’s arrival: “Cambridge Satchel is well known for its quality, craftsmanship, and clear identity, but it’s also a brand with zest, fun, and self-expression—qualities that reflect the spirit of Victoria Quarter. We’re counting down the weeks until December when our loyal visitors can experience this iconic brand.”

This signing follows other notable developments at Victoria Leeds, including Boodles, the British family-owned jeweller, expanding its presence with a new entertainment room, The Rose Garden Suite, and doubling its trading space from 1,200 sq ft to 2,700 sq ft as part of its ongoing investment.

Lunson Mitchenall and Central Retail acted for Victoria Leeds, while Sandra Duke, Sales Director, represented Cambridge Satchel in the agreement.
