In celebration of their respective anniversaries—75 years for Onitsuka Tiger and 110 years for Patou—the two iconic brands have joined forces for a special-edition collection, blending Japanese and French design elements.

Launching in stores across 15 regions and online from 20th November 2024, this collaboration brings together playful sophistication and refined craftsmanship, capturing the essence of both brands.

The collaboration features three distinct sneaker styles:

  • MEXICO 66™: A reimagined classic with Patou’s signature grosgrain details on the iconic Onitsuka Tiger Stripes. Offered in an exclusive pink and black colourway, this model also features a detachable tiger charm, adding a customisable touch to the design. Price: £250
  • MEXICO RINKAN™: With a relaxed, casual aesthetic, this model pairs soft beige with bold pink accents. The back tab features Patou’s grosgrain detail, lending a playful yet refined finish. Price: £270
  • MEXICO 66™ BALLERINA: Inspired by ballet, this sneaker integrates grosgrain detailing for a refined look. Available in Patou’s signature pink and black, the model features a chic double strap. Price: £250

In addition to footwear, the collection includes apparel and accessories featuring Patou’s signature pink and grosgrain fabric, merged with Onitsuka Tiger’s modern design approach. The clothing lineup includes hoodies (£410), t-shirts (£175–£200), a cap (£175), a beanie (£155), and socks (£25–£50), all styled with unisex fits and collaboration branding.

To celebrate this collaboration, Onitsuka Tiger’s flagship store on Regent Street, London, will host an immersive experience titled “Sleepover at L’appartement Patou Tiger.” Running from 20th November to 22nd December 2024, this event transports visitors into a virtual world where two friends from Paris and Tokyo share a small apartment, fusing Japanese and French cultural elements. Admission is free, though reservations are required and open from 12th November 2024 through Onitsuka Tiger’s event site.

Guillaume Henry, Patou’s Creative Director, and the campaign team have infused this collection with energy and artistry. The campaign, shot by Ellen Fedors and styled by Julia Sarr Jamois, captures the vibrant spirit of the collaboration, making it a must-see event this holiday season.
