Footasylum has announced plans to open a new 12,000 sq ft store at Trinity Leeds in April 2026, marking a further investment in one of its long-established UK markets and reinforcing its commitment to high-profile regional shopping destinations.
The opening will strengthen the retailer’s physical presence in Leeds and follows a period of sustained trading in the city, including a former store at The Core shopping centre and a pop-up at Trinity Leeds in 2025.

Footasylum will occupy a Lower Ground floor unit at Trinity Leeds, previously operated by Superdry and located opposite Mango.
Location and retail mix
Trinity Leeds is the city’s largest shopping and leisure destination, home to more than 120 retail and hospitality operators, alongside an Everyman cinema. The Footasylum opening will create 24 jobs and will stock a mix of third-party sportswear brands alongside Footasylum-exclusive labels, including Monterrain, Forena, Dripmade and Epic Kind.
Launch activity
To mark the opening, Footasylum plans to host a programme of in-store events, extending its social media-led engagement into the physical retail environment. The retailer will also partner with local businesses as part of the launch activity, with a focus on engaging with Leeds-based talent.

UK and international expansion
The Trinity Leeds store forms part of Footasylum’s wider UK store rollout, following recent openings at Cornmill Centre in Darlington, Croft Retail and Leisure Park in Bromborough, and Forster Square shopping centre in Bradford.
“Leeds has always been a strong market for Footasylum. The response to our pop-up in the Trinity shopping centre last year, and our previous store at The Core, demonstrated clear demand for a bigger, permanent Footasylum presence in the city, and we’re delighted Trinity provided the right opportunity to do that.”
“This store represents an important step as we continue our rollout across the UK and beyond under Aurelius’ ownership. Investing in high-quality retail spaces remains central to our multi-brand, multi-channel strategy, and we look forward to further openings in the year ahead.”— Shannon Osman, Head of Retail, Footasylum
Internationally, Footasylum continues to progress its expansion programme. In November 2025, the retailer signed a distribution agreement with MAD agency covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A further strategic partnership with Apparel Group was confirmed in December 2025, supporting plans to open stores across the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
