Murdock London has opened a new barbershop at Broadgate Central, joining the recently launched destination at the heart of the City.

Founded in 2006, the British-made, barber-approved grooming brand marks two decades of expertise behind the chair in 2026. Murdock London is known for blending classic British barbering with a contemporary approach, delivering precision haircuts, traditional cut-throat shaves and considered beard grooming in calm, design-led spaces.

Murdock Barbers Broadgate Central Interior

Broadgate Central has opened as a new focal point for the wider Broadgate estate, bringing together retail, food and workspace designed around modern working patterns. Murdock London’s arrival forms part of the opening line-up, aligning with the destination’s focus on experience-led and service-driven operators.

During a recent visit following the opening, the emphasis on service and skill was evident from the moment of arrival. Guests are treated as VIPs, with a warm welcome, complimentary refreshments and an unrushed, consultation-led approach. The haircut experience reflected a high level of technical expertise, delivered by skilled barbers with close attention to detail.

Alongside services, the barbershop stocks Murdock London’s full range of British-made grooming products. Customers are offered clear, informed guidance on which products will benefit them most, based on individual needs. This consultative approach positions product as a natural extension of the service, underpinned by the brand’s experience behind the chair.

The Broadgate Central location also reflects Murdock London’s wider commitment to wellbeing. All barbers are Mental Health First Aid trained, and conversation is encouraged as a natural part of the experience. As explained during the visit, the barbershop provides a trusted opportunity within the working day where it is simply good to talk, using the chair as a setting for calm, open discussion alongside professional grooming.

Located just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, the barbershop is designed around modern working patterns, offering City professionals an accessible place to reset before work, between meetings or on the journey home.

The opening reflects continued demand for premium, experience-led grooming within London’s business districts, as professionals increasingly prioritise wellbeing, service and personal care alongside busy schedules.
