Oliver Brown will open a new store in Cambridge on 1 April 2026, marking its arrival in a city closely associated with tradition, ceremony, and occasion-led dressing.

Cambridge-Specific Product Launch

To coincide with the opening, Oliver Brown will introduce an exclusive garment designed specifically for the Cambridge store: a lightweight summer blazer. The single-breasted navy piece has been developed for warmer months using a lightweight wool-linen blend from Vitale Barberis, offering a more breathable alternative to traditional suiting.

The blazer features a deconstructed construction, with reduced shoulder padding, lining, and canvas to create a lighter and more relaxed silhouette while maintaining a tailored appearance. Details include a half-lined interior, dual side vents, and smoked mother-of-pearl buttons.

Oliver Brown Cambridge Offering

The Cambridge store will offer ready-to-wear tailoring, made-to-measure garments, and formalwear hire, serving students, professionals, and visitors preparing for events such as formal halls, graduations, and May Ball season.

Oliver Brown has an established association with British race day dress, including morning wear and top hat collections. Cambridge’s proximity to Newmarket, a centre of British horse racing, further supports this aspect of the offer, particularly during key events in the racing calendar.

The store is scheduled to open on 1 April 2026 at 5 Green Street.
