Manchester Arndale is set to welcome Montreal-born lifestyle brand GARAGE, with the retailer preparing to open a new city centre store at the scheme.

The new store will be one of GARAGE’s first locations in the North West and forms part of the brand’s UK expansion beyond London. The move also strengthens Manchester Arndale’s fashion offer as it continues to attract brands seeking regional city centre locations.

GARAGE Large

GARAGE is known for its mix of elevated off-duty essentials and active lifestyle pieces. The brand, which has 231 stores across North America, made its UK debut with initial openings at Bluewater and on Oxford Street, supported by an e-commerce platform.

The Manchester Arndale store will introduce GARAGE’s active and off-duty aesthetic to shoppers across the North West. The centre said its concentration of style-conscious Gen Z consumers, annual footfall exceeding 40 million and student population of more than 100,000 align closely with the brand’s target audience.

GARAGE joins a series of brands that have selected Manchester Arndale for regional expansion, with recent additions further broadening the centre’s fashion line-up.

Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners are Manchester Arndale’s retained letting agents. M&G Real Estate and Global Mutual are also named in connection with the scheme.
