Marella is set to open its first London store in Marylebone this spring, marking a significant step in the Italian fashion brand’s international expansion.

Located at 8 Marylebone High Street, the boutique will occupy one of central London’s established retail destinations and reflects a strategic move to strengthen the brand’s presence in the UK market.

The 1,410 sq ft store has been designed to express Marella’s contemporary Italian aesthetic, combining clean architectural lines with mirrored and polished surfaces. The layout prioritises customer experience, with curated spaces intended to create a welcoming and considered retail environment.

The interior palette is based on neutral tones inspired by a range of skin tones, reflecting the diversity of the brand’s audience. Central to the concept is Nude Pink, Marella’s signature shade, used throughout the space to convey a sense of femininity and refinement.

Lighting is provided by the LightMass collection, developed by London-based design studio Raw Edges. The single-material lighting elements are designed to minimise environmental impact while complementing the store’s overall aesthetic.

International Expansion

Marella, part of the Max Mara Fashion Group, currently operates more than 200 mono-brand stores and 1,400 multi-brand locations worldwide. The London opening follows recent store launches in Paris and Munich and forms part of a broader strategy to expand in key European fashion markets.

The brand’s collections are also available through its own e-commerce platform and via selected wholesale partners, including Harrods, Harvey Nichols and John Lewis.
