Emerging athleisure brand HikersIsland has launched its debut collection, introducing a women’s activewear offer designed around movement, emotional connection and self-expression.

Founded by Eri Krasniqi and creative director Scarlett Abrahams, HikersIsland has been developed for women whose lives move between fitness, work and everyday moments. The London launch introduces a refined approach to activewear, with pieces intended to bridge performance and style.

Abrahams began her career in fashion PR after leaving school and has worked with brands including Fabletics, Revolve, GUESS and Nobody’s Child. Her background in brand storytelling, fashion communications and trend forecasting informs the brand’s creative direction and aesthetic.

Krasniqi spent several years living in Los Angeles, where he identified what he saw as a gap in the market: women leaving the gym often lacked outfits that felt polished, versatile and confident enough to carry them through the rest of the day. That insight became the foundation for HikersIsland, which is positioned around pieces that transition from workout to everyday life.

The debut collection is designed around elevated essentials and thoughtful detailing, offering athleisure intended to move through different parts of the day.

A Colour-Led Approach

Colour is a defining part of the brand’s identity. HikersIsland plans to introduce curated colour drops throughout the year, inspired by the mood and energy of each season.

The debut collection is presented in three foundational shades: Charcoal Black, Sandy Nude and Cobalt Blue. According to the brand, the colours have been chosen to represent strength, balance and understated confidence.

The brand describes colour as a central part of its storytelling, shaping its visual identity and emotional language.

Movement And Self-Expression

HikersIsland is built on the belief that movement is both physical and emotional, reflecting energy, confidence, individuality and personal rhythm.

“HikersIsland isn’t just activewear; it’s a state of motion and self-expression,”

“We wanted to create pieces that support women through every part of their day while making them feel grounded, empowered, and confident in how they move through the world.”

The brand name reflects a dual philosophy. “Hikers” represents courage in motion, energy, curiosity, resilience and exploration, while “Island” symbolises grounding and self-discovery.

Together, the name is intended to represent intentional movement rooted in purpose, freedom and modern femininity.

A Debut Built Around Everyday Use

Designed around principles including freedom, flow, rhythm, ritual, journey, energy, grounding, clarity and confidence, HikersIsland is entering the athleisure market with the tagline “Built For Movement. Worn For Life.”

The brand describes itself as a contemporary athleisure label creating elevated essentials for women who move with purpose. Positioned at the intersection of activewear, lifestyle and modern self-expression, HikersIsland will launch on 28 May.
