Percival and Monkey Shoulder have extended their collaboration with the launch of a limited-edition ‘Speyside’ football shirt.

The British menswear brand and blended malt Scotch whisky have previously worked together on co-branded listening bar spaces in Percival’s London stores. Their latest project introduces a shirt designed around a pixel distortion stripe pattern, using an orange, red and black palette inspired by the Speyside landscape of the Scottish Highlands.

Z62 5185 Large

The design references the rugged terrain, dense forests and rolling valleys surrounding the area associated with Monkey Shoulder’s whisky making heritage. The shirt is intended for everyday wear as well as match day use.

Manufactured by Admiral, the shirt brings together football kit references, fashion and whisky culture. Percival describes the piece as a collector’s item positioned between sport and contemporary menswear.

“The shirt is a subversive reinterpretation of the classic football kit. Less match day uniform, more wearable artwork. Where traditional tournament merchandise often plays it safe, Percival and Monkey Shoulder wanted to create something that pushes football inspired style into a more elevated and fashion led space.”

Chris Gove, Founder and Creative Director of Percival

The shirt follows the recent redesign of Percival’s Soho and Covent Garden stores, where dedicated vinyl listening bars have been introduced. The spaces include curated records and custom-configured KEF speakers, with customers able to enjoy Monkey Shoulder’s signature Old Fashioned serve.

The co-branded retail areas have been designed to encourage customers to slow down, listen and spend more time in-store, offering a more considered alternative to the transactional pace of modern retail.

“This limited-edition shirt perfectly captures Monkey Shoulder’s irreverent spirit, cultural credibility and connection to Speyside in the Scottish Highlands. It brings together football, fashion and whisky culture in a way that feels fresh, unexpected and genuinely collectible.”

James Eisen, Brand Manager at Monkey Shoulder

The shirt is priced at £60 and available to pre-order online at Percivalclo.com from 3 June, with shipping commencing from 15 June. A limited number will also be available across Percival’s London stores in Soho, Spitalfields and Covent Garden.
