lululemon has named DLF Promenade in New Delhi as the location of its first store in India. The store is scheduled to open later this autumn under the brand’s franchise agreement with Tata CLiQ.
The first Indian store from lululemon will be located at DLF Promenade and carry performance products for men and women across categories including yoga, Pilates, running, training, tennis, golf and everyday movement. It is also intended to provide a space where customers, brand ambassadors and local health and fitness communities can connect.

Digital Launch To Accompany Store Opening
Under the franchise agreement, Tata CLiQ will launch lululemon on its Tata CLiQ Luxury platform and Tata CLiQ Fashion platform at the same time as the physical store opens.
The digital launch will make the brand’s athletic and lifestyle products available to customers across India, alongside community-led activities focused on movement and wellbeing.
The partnership will combine the New Delhi store with access through Tata CLiQ’s national digital platforms.
International Expansion
Market expansion remains a central part of lululemon’s growth strategy. The company currently has a presence in more than 30 markets across North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and China Mainland.
Its planned entry into India follows launches earlier in 2026 in Poland, Greece, Hungary and Romania, which were also delivered through the company’s franchise partnership model.
The India launch will extend that franchise-led expansion through a combination of physical retail, digital distribution and local community engagement.
