MANGO has opened a new 6,200 sq ft store at Eastgate Square in Chester, creating more than 16 jobs and marking its second location in the city.

The store carries MANGO’s latest Woman and Man collections, spanning clothing, footwear and accessories. The collections are designed at the retailer’s Barcelona atelier by a team of 500 experts, combining versatile wardrobe staples with contemporary pieces influenced by its Mediterranean heritage.

The interior has been developed around MANGO’s New Med concept, which draws on the brand’s Mediterranean heritage and culture. Natural textures, warm tones and sustainable materials are used throughout the store at Eastgate Square to create a bright and welcoming retail environment.

UK Expansion

The Chester opening forms part of MANGO’s 2024–2026 4Es Strategic Plan, which includes continued sales growth and expansion of its physical store network. The UK is one of the company’s top 10 markets by revenue and remains a priority for growth.

Expansion activity in the UK during 2026 is focused on southern and northern England, with new locations including its Cheltenham store and a new site on Kensington High Street, alongside King’s Road in London and the Chester store.

The programme follows continued growth for MANGO. The company reported global turnover of €1.852 billion for the first half of 2026, an increase of 7.2% year on year and 10.7% at constant exchange rates.

Growth was supported by the performance of its collections, including collaborations with Eckhaus Latta and British tailoring house Richard James, alongside continued store expansion.

UK Store Network

MANGO has been present in the UK since 1998. At the end of 2025, the company had more than 100 points of sale across the country, comprising standalone stores and concessions, alongside Mango.com and a presence on other online marketplaces.

The Eastgate Square opening adds to that network as MANGO continues the final year of its 2024–2026 expansion programme.
