Korean contemporary fashion brand SYSTEM has opened a menswear pop-up at Harrods in London, running from 7 September to 22 November 2026.

Located within the Contemporary Designer area on the second floor of the Harrods menswear department, the temporary space presents a curated selection of SYSTEM menswear alongside products developed specifically for the project, including a Harrods-exclusive cap.

European Retail Concept Arrives in London

The interior draws on design elements used at SYSTEM’s European retail locations, including its Paris flagship and menswear store at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.

SYSTEM has carried a consistent minimalist and sculptural design language across the locations, with the Harrods installation intended to create a visual connection between its European stores.

Works by Korean artist Hyungshin Hwang form a central part of the London space. Hwang previously contributed fixtures to SYSTEM’s Paris flagship and Galeries Lafayette Haussmann locations, with his sculptural approach reinterpreted for the Harrods setting.

The resulting environment brings together fashion, art and spatial design within the department store’s contemporary menswear offer. Harrods has previously hosted other temporary menswear concepts, including a dedicated 247 retail space from Represent.

From Paris to London

The Harrods pop-up extends SYSTEM’s European retail activity following the opening of its Paris flagship and a permanent menswear boutique at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in January 2026.

The Paris department store has also formed part of wider international fashion expansion strategies, including MITHRIDATE’s first European pop-up earlier this year.

SYSTEM intends to use the London project to assess local customer response and sales performance while connecting the European retail activity with its marketing programme in Korea.

The brand was established in 1990 and operates under the creative direction of Hee-soo Kim. It has presented global collections during Paris Fashion Week since 2019 and currently operates approximately 100 boutiques in South Korea, alongside more than 60 international retail partners.

Launch activity at Harrods includes a SYSTEM-designed gacha pouch for visitors while stocks last, with complimentary beverages also planned for the Saturday following the opening.

The pop-up will remain open at Harrods until 22 November 2026.
