Primark, the international fashion retailer, has once again joined forces with Dr. Seuss to launch an expansive Grinch-themed collection this holiday season. The range, which includes over 100 items, was brokered by leading licensing agency WildBrain CPLG.

The collection spans womenswear, menswear, accessories, home, and gifting, allowing customers to fully embrace their inner Grinch this Christmas. The range includes matching Grinch pyjamas for the whole family, cosy socks and slippers, and even a sleepsuit for babies. The Grinch Snuddie, a fan favourite, is making a return, along with a variety of loungewear and Christmas jumpers. The homeware section offers cushions, throws, and festive decorations. For pet owners, the collection includes outfits and bandana sets inspired by the Grinch’s loyal companion, Max. The products were designed and delivered by long-standing Grinch licensees including Brand Alliance, Fashion UK, Brand International, Roy Lowe, Character World, Fizz Creations, Modern Gourmet Foods, and H&A.

Sarah Jackson, Director of Licensing at Primark, said: “We are delighted to collaborate once again with Dr. Seuss this year on the hugely popular Grinch range, which is sure to put a smile on our customers faces. Our partnership has grown year-on-year, and we’re excited to offer our biggest ever collection across all departments in-store. At Primark, we pride ourselves on our extensive license offering and we’re thrilled to not only bring fantastic products to our customers, but also themed cafés in our Birmingham and Edinburgh locations this year so visitors can kick back, relax and enjoy some Grinch-tastic goodies. As part of our mission to surprise and delight our customers, there’s more exciting things to come…which will be revealed soon!”

This marks the fifth year of Primark’s partnership with Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch, making it the retailer’s largest collection featuring the character to date. The collection is affordably priced, with items starting at £1 for accessories and going up to £25.

Susan Brandt, President and CEO of Dr. Seuss Enterprises, commented: “It’s been a thrill to watch The Grinch’s popularity rise around the world the last few decades. For several years, the Primark team has been a great collaborative partner in the U.K. It’s exciting to see their Grinch collection continue to expand and reach more people through diverse categories. The debut of their Grinch-themed cafés this year is a delightful addition. I can’t wait for our fans to experience all the fun, Grinchy elements we have in-store and online throughout the holiday season.”

Stacy Scimia, Commercial Director at WildBrain CPLG UK, added: “We love seeing the brilliant reaction fans have to Primark’s Grinch range every year, and we can’t wait to see how much the fans will love this year’s collection. With more ways than ever to bring The Grinch into family Christmas traditions, everyone from grandparents to pets can get involved in The Grinch holiday fun!”

In a unique move, Primark will offer an immersive Grinch experience in their Birmingham and Edinburgh stores. Their Primarket cafés will undergo a festive transformation from October 23rd to December 29th, featuring a limited-edition menu that includes a Grinchmas Shake and Cindy Lou Who Waffles.

The Grinch collection is available in Primark stores across all 16 markets starting from October 23rd.
