Grosvenor has revealed that the much-loved underwear brand, Lounge, is set to open a Christmas pop-up store in Liverpool ONE, heralding its first appearance in the city. Scheduled to launch this December on South John Street, the 4,000 sq ft space is a testament to the brand’s rapid growth and reinforces Liverpool ONE’s reputation as a premier destination for innovative and leading-edge retailers.

Following a string of successful pop-up ventures, Lounge ventured into permanent retail earlier this year and is ambitiously planning to unveil seven additional stores in the coming year. The Liverpool ONE pop-up is poised to offer a premium shopping experience that embodies Lounge’s ethos of ‘Comfort Made Sexy’, showcasing the brand’s latest high-quality underwear, sleep, and apparel collections. The design of the South John Street location is expected to reflect Lounge’s ‘modern luxury’ aesthetic, with neutral tones, wooden features, and strategic lighting that accentuates its exquisite lingerie offerings.

At the Liverpool ONE pop-up, shoppers will find Lounge’s extensive selection of top-selling lingerie, comfortable loungewear, and snug nightwear. Lounge Fit Experts will be available to provide personalized fitting and styling advice. In tune with the festive season, the store will also present a range of stocking fillers, enhancing the Christmas shopping experience.

Rob Deacon, Asset Management Director at Grosvenor, shared his enthusiasm: “Lounge is becoming increasingly renowned across the UK and internationally, so the launch of the upcoming Christmas pop-up at Liverpool ONE is a hugely exciting moment for us. We are seeing a growing amount of successful online retailers like Lounge seek physical locations, so we are very pleased to be welcoming them to South John Street in their city debut, reemphasising Liverpool ONE as the go-to destination for expanding, innovative retailers, and the continued resilience of the high street.”

Mel Marsden, Founder of Lounge, also commented on the expansion: “We are delighted to announce that we will be opening an exclusive pop-up at Liverpool ONE this Christmas. As Lounge continues to expand into physical retail, we have been seeking locations that not only have high footfall numbers, but also align with our dedication to providing the ultimate customer experience, and Liverpool ONE’s core visitor-centred values and loyal consumer base made it the ideal home. We look forward to opening our doors in December and introducing Liverpool to our luxurious city debut.”

This announcement comes on the heels of ARNE’s highly successful pop-up return to Liverpool ONE, which saw the clothing and footwear brand attract hundreds of visitors for its second physical store activation at the destination.
