PANGAIA, a pioneering materials science company, is gearing up to launch its first standalone flagship store in the UK this summer, choosing a prime location on Carnaby Street in Shaftesbury Capital’s vibrant Soho neighbourhood.

Set at 57 Carnaby Street, the new 1,500 sq ft store will showcase the brand’s genderless apparel collection. This opening provides an opportunity for visitors to engage with nature and sustainable practices right in the heart of London. The store aims to be more than just a retail space, as it also serves as an educational hub where shoppers can delve into PANGAIA’s innovative approaches to materials science and its solutions to environmental challenges.

This new addition to Soho not only enhances the area’s status as a hub for retail firsts but also sits in good company with neighbouring stores such as END, Adidas Originals, and Axel Arigato, which have also chosen Soho for their significant first stores—END’s first in London, and the global firsts for Adidas Originals and Axel Arigato. The area is further complemented by world-class dining options like Mountain, Bebe Bob, and Kiln, adding to the dynamic and multi-dimensional appeal of the district.

Michelle McGrath, Executive Director at Shaftesbury Capital, expressed her enthusiasm about the new opening: “PANGAIA is one of the most interesting and innovation-driven brands globally. Their flagship UK debut in Soho’s Carnaby Street underscores the district’s reputation for UK firsts, world-class experiences, and sought-after consumer demographics. The signing highlights our approach to active curation, seeking out challenger and high-growth brands which complement the multi-dimensional nature of the area and its existing brands and restaurants such as Aimé Leon Dore, Adidas Originals, END, Mountain, Kiln, and Rita’s.”

With its commitment to sustainability and innovation, PANGAIA’s new flagship store is poised to become a key destination for eco-conscious consumers and fashion enthusiasts alike, reinforcing Carnaby Street’s status as a premiere shopping and cultural hotspot in London.
