Alo Yoga has unveiled its first UK flagship store in Seven Dials, Covent Garden, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion into the British market. Spanning 5,000 sq ft across three floors, the store showcases Alo Yoga’s signature luxury activewear, loungewear, and wellness collections, along with accessories.

Situated at 25a Neal Street, the new location combines Californian-inspired interiors with contemporary retail design, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that reflects Alo Yoga’s heritage.

A Growing Global Appeal for Seven Dials

The launch of Alo Yoga’s flagship comes as Seven Dials continues to attract leading global brands. In 2024, the neighbourhood welcomed a wave of new retail investments, with 55 brands opening stores or signing leases, covering a total of nearly 100,000 sq ft of space.

Other recent additions include flagship stores from Arc’teryx, Axel Arigato, and Barbour, as well as new concepts from ELEMIS, Longines, and Peak Performance. Seven Dials has also secured major signings such as ERGON House and Nespresso, further strengthening its reputation as a hub for premium shopping and lifestyle experiences.

Strengthening Covent Garden’s Retail Scene

The opening of Alo Yoga highlights Covent Garden’s enduring appeal to luxury and lifestyle brands. Shaftesbury Capital, the company managing Seven Dials and much of Covent Garden, reported a strong year in 2024, with 22 brands renewing leases or expanding their presence in the area. Notable examples include Charlotte Tilbury, Diptyque, and Strathberry, contributing a combined 40,000 sq ft of retail space.

William Oliver, Retail Leasing Director at Shaftesbury Capital, noted the importance of Alo Yoga’s arrival:
“Alo Yoga’s new flagship store represents another exciting addition to Seven Dials, reflecting the destination’s status as a go-to location for world-class brands. With significant international debuts and high-profile recommitments in 2024, Covent Garden is poised for even greater growth in 2025.”

The launch of Alo Yoga coincides with Charlotte Tilbury’s recent relocation to a much larger unit within Covent Garden. The luxury beauty brand’s new store, three times the size of its original location, is prominently situated near the Royal Opera House, further enhancing the area’s appeal.
