Danish menswear brand Jack & Jones has officially opened its latest UK store at Silverburn, further enhancing the retail destination’s fashion offering. Known for its premium denim and contemporary menswear, the brand brings its signature style to Glasgow shoppers with a diverse collection of essentials, including high-quality jeans, tailored suits, and premium leather goods.

The addition of Jack & Jones strengthens Silverburn’s growing lineup of fashion brands, joining recent store openings from international retailers such as Bershka and Pull&Bear. The centre has also seen a significant retail expansion with the arrival of Zara’s new flagship store and the introduction of H Beauty by Harrods, marking its sixth UK location.

Jack & Jones: A Brand Built on Denim

Founded in 1990 as part of Denmark’s Bestseller Group, Jack & Jones started as a denim-focused label before expanding into a full-scale menswear brand. The company quickly gained traction after debuting its first collection at Oslo Fashion Week, opening its first store in Norway that same year.

Over the past three decades, Jack & Jones has grown into one of Europe’s leading menswear brands, operating more than 900 retail stores globally and distributing through thousands of wholesale partners. While denim remains at the heart of the brand, its range now includes urban sportswear, casual classics, accessories, and footwear. The company has also embraced sustainability, launching initiatives such as its Low Impact Denim collection, which focuses on eco-friendly materials and ethical production.

Silverburn’s Retail Growth and Expansion

Silverburn, one of Scotland’s premier shopping destinations, has undergone significant expansion in recent years, attracting major international brands. The centre reported 15.2 million visitors in 2024, with additional openings planned for 2025, including Hotel Chocolat, Black Sheep Coffee, and King Pins bowling.

David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn, commented on the latest addition to the centre’s retail lineup:

“Jack & Jones has a fantastic reputation for high-quality trendsetting menswear and will perfectly complement our fashion offering. It was great to see the excitement from the first shoppers into the store. We’re proud to be the destination of choice for such exciting brands, with more to announce in the coming months. This is just the beginning of what is going to be a very busy year.”

The centre has also seen significant investment from property groups Henderson Park and Eurofund Group, who have led redevelopment efforts to enhance Silverburn’s premium shopping experience.
