Hollister has signed for a unit at Metrocentre, set to open a 6,000 sq ft store in Red Mall this summer. The American fashion brand, owned by Abercrombie & Fitch, will be positioned adjacent to Stradivarius and the recently expanded Superdrug.
The new store will feature Hollister’s latest shop format, showcasing the brand’s full range of clothing, accessories, and fragrances. The California-inspired retailer targets younger demographics with casual wear spanning trend-driven pieces to signature staples.

Hollister’s UK Expansion
The Metrocentre opening forms part of Hollister’s ongoing UK expansion. The brand has recently announced openings at locations including Silverburn in Glasgow, indicating continued investment in regional shopping destinations outside London.
Parent company Abercrombie & Fitch has been investing in store renovations and new openings across the UK. The group’s updated store formats feature natural lighting and accessible layouts, representing an evolution from the brand’s previous heavily scented retail environments.

Red Mall Location
Hollister will join an established collection of international fashion retailers in Red Mall, including Reiss, Mango, Urban Outfitters, and ZARA. These retailers collectively form Metrocentre’s fashion-focused retail area.
Ben Cox, Director at Sovereign Centros from CBRE, Asset Managers of Metrocentre, said: “The strategic addition of Hollister is a clear demonstration of our commitment to delivering a prime retail mix, one that hits the right notes across our entire visitor demographic.”
He added: “Our fashion offer is growing in response to evidenced demand; we are continuing to attract the best-in-class shop fits, and Hollister’s desire to be part of Metrocentre shows the pull of having a real critical mass of competitor brands in one place.”
Lovisa Also Signed
Alongside Hollister, Lovisa has signed for a 957 sq ft unit in Red Mall. The Australian fashion jewellery brand, which operates over 900 stores across more than 45 countries, will offer earrings, necklaces, and rings, alongside its free piercing service. Lovisa is expected to open over the coming months.
Metrocentre Performance
The signings follow a successful year for Metrocentre’s leasing activity. The centre attracted over 16 million visitors throughout 2025 and welcomed 16 new brands, delivering more than 70,000 sq ft of new lettings alongside 78,000 sq ft of store upsizes and refurbishments.
Recent arrivals have included Danish homeware brand Søstrene Grene, experiential leisure concept Activate, jewellery retailer Diamonds Factory, and Japanese-inspired restaurant brand Maki & Ramen, which opened a 7,000 sq ft unit in The Qube.
