Fashion eyewear brand bloobloom has opened a new store in Notting Hill, expanding its London portfolio with a 900 sq ft location on Portobello Road.

Located at 172 Portobello Road, the opening marks bloobloom’s eighth store in London, joining existing sites in Canary Wharf, Carnaby, Covent Garden, King’s Road, Marylebone Village, White City and Spitalfields. The brand was founded in 2018 and has continued to grow its physical retail presence alongside its online offer.

The interior of the Notting Hill store draws inspiration from the island of Capri, combining Mediterranean references with a restrained aesthetic. Design features include terracotta flooring, stucco walls and Greek-style alcoves intended to frame the eyewear, alongside a French chandelier, linen drapery and handmade pottery.

The full bloobloom collection of sunglasses and spectacles is available in store, with prices starting from £99. Customers can also access walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services, and personalised style advice. The store includes one testing room, and all frames are handcrafted using sustainable materials.
