Dutch eyewear brand Ace & Tate has opened its tenth London store on Broadway Market in Hackney, continuing the company’s expansion across the capital.

Located in the centre of the well-known East London market street, the opening represents a further milestone for the Amsterdam-founded brand, which has built a growing retail presence in the city over the past decade.

Design Inspired By Local Retail Culture

The design of the new store draws inspiration from the area’s second-hand shopping culture and independent retail character. According to the company, reused furnishings from previous Ace & Tate stores have been incorporated into the interior, reflecting the neighbourhood’s eclectic aesthetic.

The building façade has been painted in a distinctive blue, referencing the traditional parasols used by Broadway Market vendors. The location’s village-like atmosphere and strong independent retail community were cited as key influences behind the design approach.
