CBRE Investment Management has announced that Primark has opened at Ashley Centre in Epsom, becoming the scheme’s new anchor tenant following the completion of its recent £7 million refurbishment.

The new Primark store extends across 31,400 sq ft over two floors, strengthening the fashion and homeware offer at Ashley Centre. Located next to JD Sports and close to NEXT, Oliver Bonas and Monsoon, the store features womenswear, menswear, kidswear, as well as home and beauty ranges. CBRE Investment Management said the opening is expected to draw from Epsom’s wider catchment and further strengthen the centre’s retail positioning.

Primark’s arrival follows refurbishment works at the scheme, including upgraded signage and wayfinding. A new façade by Leslie Jones Architecture has also updated the centre’s external appearance.

Other brands at Ashley Centre include Deichmann, Lovisa, Boots, Pandora and M&S, alongside food and drink operators including GAIL’s, Costa Coffee, Pret and Starbucks.

The opening marks a further step in the repositioning of Ashley Centre following its recent refurbishment programme.
