SportsShoes.com Launches Shoreditch ‘Couch to £5k’ Challenge

Online running shoes, running clothing and outdoor gear retailer SportsShoes.com has launched a new ‘Couch to £5k’ challenge at its flagship experiential store on Shoreditch High Street, London.

Open until 18 April 2026, the initiative invites runners of all abilities to complete a 5km run ending outside House of SportsShoes for the chance to win a £5,000 prize. Eligible runs can be completed at any pace and from any starting location, provided they finish outside the store at 133 Shoreditch High Street and are recorded using the Strava app.

How The Challenge Works

To complete an entry, participants must scan an in-store QR code, submit a valid email address and provide their Strava run link. All participants will also receive a free coffee for taking part, subject to availability.

The winner will be selected at random after the closing date using a verifiable computer process and contacted using the email address provided at the point of entry.

Couch to £5k forms part of the wider programme of activity at House of SportsShoes, SportsShoes.com’s flagship running experience store.

Spanning three floors and more than 5,000 sq ft, the concept combines access to the latest product launches with brand activations, community events and expert-led support from the House of SportsShoes team.

The store also includes a Running Lab featuring running performance technology and gait analysis, with specialist support designed to help customers better understand their movement and find the right shoe.
