Menswear retailer Suit Direct reopened its store at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet on 27 March 2026, introducing a new retail concept as part of its ongoing investment strategy across the UK estate.
The refurbished Suit Direct store reflects a more premium, high-street-inspired approach to design, combining upgraded materials, an improved layout and enhanced visual merchandising aimed at elevating the in-store experience.

A key element of the redesign is the removal of central partitioning, opening up the full width of the store to improve customer flow and product visibility. The concept prioritises spatial efficiency while supporting clearer sightlines and a more cohesive customer journey.
New Store Concept And Design Features

New design features include high-street-inspired finishes, such as prefinished Casella Oak Egger board used across fixtures and fittings. Lighting has been upgraded to full LED coverage, with additional feature lighting installed at both the front and rear of the store, alongside pendant lighting at the cash desk.
A new handmade cash desk has been introduced, incorporating integrated accessory displays and premium oak cladding. The fitting room experience has also been enhanced with Zoffany wallpaper and upgraded seating.

Merchandising capabilities have been expanded through the addition of highline shoe fixtures with dedicated seating areas and larger display zones. Increased mirror placement, including three-way dress mirrors, has been incorporated to support customer decision-making.
The store also adopts a more sustainable flooring solution, using Tarkett ID Evolution, a PVC-free material with high mineral content. Additional updates include refreshed mannequin collections, refined metalwork to improve sightlines, and integrated visual merchandising elements designed to support cross-selling.

The reopening forms part of a wider programme of store openings and refurbishments as the retailer continues to expand its physical presence across the UK.
