Junction 32 is set to strengthen its footwear offer with the return of British comfort footwear brand Hotter, which will open a new outlet store at the Yorkshire-based destination this April.

The 1,507 sq ft store is scheduled to open on 8 April, marking Hotter’s return to the centre six years after its previous presence and its first step back into the outlet retail channel. The store will stock the brand’s range of comfort-led footwear and lifestyle products for men and women, including shoes, sandals, boots, trainers and slippers, available at outlet pricing.

Founded in 1959, Hotter is one of the UK’s largest footwear brands, specialising in comfort-focused design. Its offer includes multiple width fittings and a full range of sizes, aimed at providing a consistent fit across its product range.

The reopening forms part of a broader evolution of the brand mix at Junction 32, which has introduced a number of premium brands as part of its ongoing leasing strategy. The centre reported a 3% year-on-year increase in footfall and a 4% rise in sales in 2025, indicating continued demand from both brands and consumers.

Hotter currently sells more than 1.2 million pairs of shoes annually and reports a turnover of £53 million. The business operates 36 stores across the UK and serves a global customer base of more than 4.6 million.

The Junction 32 opening represents the first step in Hotter’s renewed engagement with outlet retail, complementing its existing store portfolio and direct-to-consumer operations. The brand continues to invest in product development and customer experience as part of its growth strategy.

The opening marks a renewed phase in Hotter’s retail strategy, with further expansion anticipated.
