lululemon has announced plans to open its first store in Austria on Friday 4 September 2026, working with franchise partner Arion Retail Group.
Located at Kärntner Straße 14 in central Vienna, the store will carry athletic apparel, footwear and accessories from lululemon for activities including yoga, Pilates, running, training, tennis and golf, as well as products intended for everyday use.
The company identified Vienna’s cultural profile and growing fitness and wellness community as factors behind its choice of location. The opening forms part of lululemon’s international expansion and follows recent market entries in Poland, Hungary, Greece and Romania.
Store Design And Community Use
Spanning more than 200 sq m, the store will combine contemporary design with natural finishes.
In addition to its retail offer, the space is intended to operate as a community hub. A year-round programme will bring together local ambassadors, fitness studios, trainers and wellness participants through events and movement-focused experiences.
Opening Weekend Programme
The opening weekend will include complimentary wellness experiences, movement sessions, local community activations and other activities delivered with Vienna-based fitness and wellbeing partners.
Visitors will be able to meet lululemon ambassadors and learn about the brand’s latest product developments. The first guests to visit the store will also receive exclusive lululemon gifts, while further in-store activities are planned throughout the weekend.
The Vienna opening continues lululemon’s European expansion through its partnership with Arion Retail Group.
