In a significant move to diversify its online fashion offerings, Matalan has recently unveiled the addition of 10 fresh third-party brands to its digital storefront. This initiative marks a strategic enhancement in Matalan’s online presence, broadening the scope of fashion and footwear choices available to its customers.

The roster of new entrants on Matalan’s website includes a variety of fashion-forward labels such as Quiz, Pink Vanilla, Blue Vanilla, Roman, Yumi, Mela London, Where’s that From, Izabel, Brand Threads, and Toe Zone. These brands join an already impressive lineup of Matalan’s in-house and third-party collections, aimed at enriching the customer’s shopping experience with a wide array of choices.

This curated selection of new brands aligns with Matalan’s commitment to providing stylish, high-quality, and affordable fashion options. By expanding its product range, Matalan aims to cater to a diverse consumer base, addressing a variety of style preferences and size needs, including the addition of plus-size options.

Beyond fashion, Matalan is also enhancing its homeware segment. The company is set to expand its offerings in the Nursery & Baby, Seasonal & Outdoor, and Gifting categories, alongside strengthening its selection in bedding and home furnishings. This move is part of Matalan’s broader strategy to offer a comprehensive lifestyle shopping experience.

Matalan’s venture into third-party brand collaborations since last September has been marked by a responsive and adaptive approach to customer preferences. Notably successful have been celebrity-endorsed collections from Vogue Williams with Little Mistress and collaborations with Jac Jossa, Gemma Atkinson, Stacey Solomon, and Jess Millichamp for In The Style, witnessing rapid sell-outs and high demand.

Ben Smith, Matalan’s Chief Trading Officer, shared his thoughts on the expansion: “We’re so excited to be adding more fantastic brands to our portfolio, brands we know our customers will love to shop. We’re committed to offering our customers a dynamic online experience, and by giving them more choice across our product ranges we know they’ll continue to trust Matalan as their one stop shop as well as remaining a leading online retail destination for families across the UK. We have been working hard to understand what the customer wants, and in Spring 2024 will be offering more choice in key areas such as holiday shop, occasion wear, and outerwear – watch this space!”
