Design Inspired By Local Retail Culture

The design of the new store draws inspiration from the area’s second-hand shopping culture and independent retail character. According to the company, reused furnishings from previous Ace & Tate stores have been incorporated into the interior, reflecting the neighbourhood’s eclectic aesthetic.

The building façade has been painted in a distinctive blue, referencing the traditional parasols used by Broadway Market vendors. The location’s village-like atmosphere and strong independent retail community were cited as key influences behind the design approach.
