Greek demi-fine jewellery brand YSSO has launched its first pop-up store, The House of YSSO, on New Bond Street in Mayfair. Open until February 2025, the store marks YSSO’s debut in physical retail and is part of Westminster City Council’s Meanwhile On project, which provides innovative brands with access to high-profile retail spaces.

YSSO and the Meanwhile On Project

The Meanwhile On project, supported by Westminster City Council, offers brands business rate relief, funding for store design, and end-to-end support through project delivery partner Someday Studios. YSSO was selected from over 800 applicants as the 6th brand to participate and the first to open on New Bond Street.

The initiative aims to bring fresh retail concepts to high-profile areas, with YSSO’s store showcasing the unique appeal of Greek craftsmanship. Speaking about the project, Alexia Karides, YSSO Founder, said:
“As you step into the first part of the House of YSSO on New Bond Street, you are immersed in a unique installation that invites you to explore the depths of our collections. Inspired by the sun, the sea, and the architecture of Greece, this space reflects the natural beauty that shapes our designs. Each collection is thoughtfully displayed, allowing you to experience the way nature and culture influence our jewellery—whether it’s the warmth of the sun, the textures of the sea, or the timeless elegance of architectural forms. Surrounded by these elements, you can connect with the spirit of the pieces in a way that goes beyond simply viewing jewellery.”

A Showcase of Greek Craftsmanship

The House of YSSO features the brand’s full collection of jewellery, crafted in small batches in an artisanal foundry and workshop in Athens. Each piece is made using recycled bronze and plated in gold or sterling silver, embodying sustainable luxury.

Prices range from £80 to £780, with YSSO’s designs gaining attention from celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Nicola Coughlan, Adele, and Kate Hudson. Customers can explore collections inspired by Greece’s natural beauty, with themes reflecting the sun, sea, and architectural elegance.
