Primark has confirmed the full rollout of its Click & Collect service across Great Britain will be completed by summer 2024. The retailer has now expanded the service to an additional 18 stores, bringing the total number of participating locations to 131—covering almost three-quarters of its UK estate.

The Click & Collect service enables customers to browse and order selected products online before collecting them in-store from two days later at their convenience. This expansion includes items across women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, as well as homeware.

A significant addition to the offering is the availability of Primark’s new affordable adaptive clothing collection. Launched last month, the range features more than 40 wardrobe staples for men and women and has been designed in collaboration with adaptive designer and disability campaigner Victoria Jenkins.

Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark, commented: “We know that our customers love the convenience that Click & Collect offers, as well as the opportunity to access ranges otherwise only found in larger stores. With the rollout now due to complete in time for summer, we hope this will help make summer holiday shopping that little bit easier.”

Primark initially announced its plans to extend Click & Collect in April 2023, setting a target to reach all stores by the end of 2025. The service has been expanded ahead of schedule, highlighting strong customer demand and Primark’s commitment to enhancing convenience.

Alongside Click & Collect, the retailer continues to invest in its stores to support high street retail. Research by Public First shows that Primark contributes £2.6 billion to the UK economy and supports 54,000 jobs. Each week, 2.3 million people visit their local high street with Primark as their primary destination. Additionally, for every £10 spent at a Primark store, an extra £3.60 is generated for surrounding businesses, amounting to approximately £1 billion in additional retail spending and £500 million in restaurant revenue annually.

The latest stores to introduce Click & Collect include locations in Basingstoke, Boscombe, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Cwmbran, Darlington, Hartlepool, Llanelli, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Newcastle Metro Gateshead, Newport, Poole, Salisbury, Sunderland, Swindon, and Teesside.

With the rollout nearing completion, Primark continues to strengthen its presence on the high street while adapting to evolving shopping habits, offering customers a seamless blend of online browsing and in-store collection.
