JAY-Z 30 Pop-Up Opens At UMusic Shop In Camden

- Advertisment -

The official JAY-Z 30 Pop-Up Experience has opened today, Thursday 27 August, at UMusic Shop in Camden Market, bringing a week-long programme of exclusive merchandise and live music to the Stables.

Running until Wednesday 2 September, the activation marks the 30th anniversary of JAY-Z’s career and debut album Reasonable Doubt, ahead of his two London shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 4 and 5 September.

Stables Entrance Camden Market

Located at Unit 835 in Camden Market’s Stables, the pop-up is open daily from 11am to 7pm. Visitors can shop limited-edition London-specific JAY-Z 30 merchandise alongside pieces from the wider anniversary collection, vinyl releases, Armand de Brignac and copies of Assouline’s The Book of HOV: A Tribute to JAY-Z.

UMusic Shop Turns Into An Evening Live Venue

The retail element is accompanied by a daily music programme, with the UMusic Shop Camden switching into a more intimate live setting between 5pm and 7pm.

DJ Target, DJ Manny Norté, DJ Semtex and DJ Esi are among the names scheduled to perform during the week, alongside special guests.

The format uses merchandise, music and live programming to extend the anniversary campaign into a physical fan experience immediately ahead of the London stadium dates.

It also follows a wider trend for artists and entertainment properties to use temporary physical retail around major cultural moments. In 2025, the Oasis Live ’25 Fan Store in Manchester, similarly combined tour-related merchandise with a temporary fan-focused retail format ahead of the band’s live dates.

Music And Retail At Camden Market

The setting places the activation within a store already structured around music culture. UMusic Shop Camden includes a vinyl shop, listening studio, vinyl lounge, performance stage and dedicated merchandising space.

The JAY-Z 30 Pop-Up Experience is open at UMusic Shop Camden, Unit 835, The Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AH, until 2 September.
